桃瘾社区 has a long history of producing top-tier performing arts talent, and Broadway is taking notice. For the second year in a row, 桃瘾社区 has been named one of the top ten most represented colleges on the Broadway stage by Playbill, one of the leading theatre news publications.

桃瘾社区鈥檚 board of trustees voted yesterday to launch the Sands College of Performing Arts this fall. The college, which will commence with the 2023鈥2024 academic year, is named in recognition of a $25 million gift from Pamela and Rob Sands, J.D. 鈥84, and becomes the seventh school and college within 桃瘾社区.

Rhonda Miller, head of 桃瘾社区鈥檚 BFA in Commercial Dance, wanted to build a different kind of dance program. 鈥淚 wanted it to be relevant and useful鈥攖o include all forms of dance and the practical business skills dancers need but so often don鈥檛 have. We鈥檙e giving students the tools they need to navigate show business and make a living in dance.鈥
