This fall, ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø Art Gallery will present Equilibrium, a solo exhibition by interdisciplinary artist . Featuring living sculpture, photography, and performance, the exhibition explores themes of ecological transformation, resource equity, and climate adaptation. The exhibition opens with a free public reception on Friday, September 26 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

On September 5, 2025, the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø hosted the twelfth annual Future Environmental Law Professors Workshop. The workshop is designed for law students and graduates considering or planning careers as legal academics in environmental law broadly defined. The workshop included an informational panel, mock interviews, and practice job talks. In addition, this year Professor Rachel Rothschild, recipient of the 2025 Haub Environmental Law Distinguished Junior Scholar Award, delivered the keynote lunch address.

ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø recently hosted Convocation on two of its campuses: New York City and Pleasantville in Westchester County. The annual tradition formally welcomes first-year and transfer students to the University community and marks the beginning of the 2025–2026 academic year.

ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø’s Sands College of Performing Arts today announced the appointment of three distinguished artists to its faculty for Fall 2025: as clinical assistant professor of musical theater, as clinical assistant professor of commercial dance, and as clinical assistant professor and program head of stage management.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø is pleased to announce that Sam Bookman will be a Visiting Assistant Professor with the Law School for the Fall 2025 semester and he was also selected to serve as a Haub Visiting Scholar. While at ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø Haub Law, he will teach Climate Change Law and Constitutional Law.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø is pleased to announce that Sara Gonzalez-Rothi will join its faculty as a Visiting Associate Professor of Environmental Law. Prior to joining the Haub Law faculty in 2025, Professor Gonzalez-Rothi served in a variety of roles within the United States Senate and the Executive Office of the President. Most recently, she served as the Senior Director for Water at the White House Council on Environmental Quality. During her time at ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø Haub Law, Professor Gonzalez-Rothi will be teaching Administrative Law and Water Law.

The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø is proud to announce that the 2025 Elisabeth Haub Award for Environmental Law and Diplomacy will be jointly awarded to Professor John H. Knox and Dr. David R. Boyd for their groundbreaking efforts as successive United Nations Special Rapporteurs on the human right to a healthy environment. The award will be presented during a ceremony at ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø in New York City on October 23, 2025.

After an extensive nationwide search, ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø today announced the appointment of Ajay Khorana, Ph.D., as Dean of the Lubin School of Business and professor of finance, effective September 1, 2025.
