ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø ELI offers a variety of options to meet with our Admission team and experience our campuses. From private meetings with an admission advisor to information sessions with live campus tours and walking tours.

The English Language Institute also offers English and Academic support services to students, including one-on-one tutoring sessions and Conversation Groups.

Conversation Groups for International Students

Are you looking for a fresh set of eyes or advice to get you started on your research paper? We can help you plan, draft, revise, and edit your writing. Our collaborative process is designed to help you refine your work for submission and build your skills for the next assignment.

Weekly Wellness Walk (Pleasantville Campus)

Weather permitting, we will walk the scenic pond path outside the library and beyond; on icy or rainy days, we will meet at the vestibule and walk over to the Goldstein indoor track.

Rocking It as a Creative Entrepreneur

This session offers an opportunity to dive into the essentials of creative entrepreneurship, including some valuable and affordable business and legal resources available to New Yorkers that you might not have heard about! Through a panel discussion and Q&A session, attendees will learn how to avoid common business and legal mistakes people make starting out in the music industry. Plus, the event will shed more light on free and low-cost programs available to New Yorkers, including those offered at the ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø Small Business Development Center (SBDC).

Plant ID Walk (Pleasantville Campus)

Ever wondered how to tell our local native plants apart from their invasive competitors? Do you want to learn all about the different ways to identify plants? Join the Suburban Biodiversity Conservation Center and Environmental Science and Studies Dr. Matthew Aiello-Lammens for a morning plant identification walk! We will walk the Conservation Center grounds and learn all about our local plants, their ecology, and distributions. Contact the Plant ID event organizer.

ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø Night at Citi Field: Mets Baseball Game

Join the ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø community for a fun night at Citi Field as the New York Mets take on the Atlanta Braves on Tuesday, June 25 at 7:10 p.m. This exciting division rivalry game is open to all ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø students, faculty, staff, and alumni—everyone is welcome! A portion of every ticket purchased will go back to ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø to support current students, so come out, show your ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø pride, and enjoy a night of baseball for a great cause.

Join ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø for our 35th year of participating in the Annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure on Sunday, September 7 in Central Park, NYC. ÌÒñ«ÉçÇø has proudly held the title of the largest college/university team at the Race for the Cure for the past 3 ½ decades thanks to our fearless Leader, Professor Emeritus, Dr. Ellen Mandel! Join us to keep this tradition on Race Day Note…this is a race for the actual cure…not an actual race; It’s a group walk!!! If you can’t attend in person, youcan still register and donate to support the cause! Every step, every voice, and every contribution matters.
